General information / Allgemeine Hinweise
Existing safety and / or environment-related vehicle systems (such as tire pressure monitoring
systems) must remain functional after mounting or be replaced accordingly.
Im Fahrzeug verbaute sicherheits- und/oder umweltrelevante Fahrzeugsysteme ( z. B.
Reifendruckkontrollsysteme) müssen nach Anbau der Sonderräder funktionsfähig bleiben bzw.
entsprechend ersetzt werden.
If a tire size is listed in this document, and is not already mentioned in the vehicle documents
(including vehicle registration, registration certificate I or COC papers), it is allow to rectify the
information on the tire size in the vehicle documents (registration certificate, registration certificate I)
by Registration Office. This correction is not required if the ABE of the special wheel contains an
exemption from the requirement of the vehicle documents.
Wird eine in diesem Gutachten aufgeführte Reifengröße verwendet, die nicht bereits in den
Fahrzeugpapieren (u. a. Fahrzeugschein, Zulassungsbescheinigung I oder COC-Papier) genannt ist,
so sind die Angaben über die Reifengröße in den Fahrzeugpapieren (Fahrzeugschein bzw. -brief,
Zulassungsbescheinigung I) durch die Zulassungsstelle berichtigen zu lassen. Diese Berichtigung ist
dann nicht erforderlich, wenn die ABE des Sonderrades eine Freistellung von der Pflicht zur
Berichtigung der Fahrzeugpapiere enthält.
The minimum required speed ranges (with the exception of the M + S profiles) and carrying capacities
to be used for tires are reported in the vehicle documents (vehicle registration certificate).
Furthermore, only one tire type on the same axle is permitted. When using different types of tires on
front and rear axle, it should be according to the notes of the vehicle and / or tire manufacturer's
instructions.
Die mindestens erforderlichen Geschwindigkeitsbereiche (mit Ausnahme der M+S-Profile) und
Tragfähigkeiten der zu verwendenden Reifen sind den Fahrzeugpapieren (Fahrzeugbrief und -schein,
Zulassungsbescheinigung I) zu entnehmen. Ferner sind nur Reifen einer Bauart und achsweise eines
Reifentyps zulässig. Bei Verwendung unterschiedlicher Reifentypen auf Vorder- und Hinterachse sind
die Hinweise des Fahrzeug- und / oder Reifenherstellers zu beachten.
The suspension and brake components shall comply with the exception of retrofit measures applied in
the appropriate edition, as original equipment. The admissibility of further changes must be assessed
separately.
Das Fahrwerk und die Bremsaggregate müssen, mit Ausnahme der in der entsprechenden Auflage
aufgeführten Umrüstmaßnahmen, dem Serienstand entsprechen. Die Zulässigkeit weiterer
Veränderungen ist gesondert zu beurteilen.
The standard spare wheel must not be used for longer distance than necessary, always at moderate
speed and using the standard equipment. On vehicles with all-wheel drive, only one spare tire with the
same size and the same rolling circumference of original tire size may be used.
Wird das serienmäßige Ersatzrad verwendet, soll mit mäßiger Geschwindigkeit und nicht länger als
erforderlich gefahren werden. Es müssen die serienmäßigen Befestigungsteile verwendet werden. Bei
Fahrzeugen mit Allradantrieb darf nur ein Ersatzrad mit gleicher Reifengröße bzw. gleichem
Abrollumfang verwendet werden.
The users of the wheels must be informed that the tire pressure prescribed by the tire manufacturer
must be observed.
Die Bezieher der Räder sind darauf hinzuweisen, dass der vom Reifenhersteller vorgeschriebene
Reifenfülldruck zu beachten ist.

A14 Only adhesive weights may be affixed to the exterior of the rim below the bead seat for
balancing the special wheels.
A18 Only tubeless tyres and metal screw-on valves mounted from outside and in broad conformity
with the DIN, E.T.R.T.O or "Tire and Rim" standard are permissible.
Car The wheel/tyre combination is permissible for vehicle models of the Avant, Caravan, estate-
car and/or touring variants.
Cbo The wheel/tyre combination is permissible for vehicle models of the Cabriolet, Roadster
variants.
Cpe The wheel/tyre combination is permissible for vehicle models of the Coupé variant.
ECE The use of this wheel / tire combination is permissible only if these tires are already registered
as standard equipment in the vehicle documents or released by the vehicle manufacturer, see extract
from the EC type-approval of the vehicle (EC certificate of conformity). The load index, speed symbol,
the M + S designation, the tire manufacturer and the advices/recommendations reported in
documentation of the vehicle manufacturer must be respected when using this tire size
Flh The wheel/tyre combination is permissible for hatchback vehicle models, both with 3 and 5
doors.
S01 For fastening the special wheels only original equipment fixing element no. S02 (see page 1)
can be used.
S02 For fastening the special wheels only original equipment fixing element no. S02 (see page 1)
can be used.
S03 For fastening the special wheels only original equipment fixing element no. S03 (see page 1)
can be used.
