Dear Sir or Madam,

your application regarding a german type approval for the above mentioned device reached
the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA). As soon as all documents are submitted KBA will decide on
your application.

According to your application following approval sign is announced:

                 KBA 49199

By this announcement of the approval number in advance the decision on the application
regarding a type approval is not anticipated at all. The announcement of the applicable
approval number goes along with collateral clauses.

The announced approval sign is granted for not more than 12 months starting at the date
mentioned above and may be withdrawn, if the type approval is not granted.

In the case of components or separate technical units you are allowed to mark already
produced components or separate technical units with the correspondent approval mark
before the type approval is granted. It is not allowed to bring these marked components or
separate technical units into service before the type approval is granted.

If so marked components or separate technical units are brought into service without having
a type approval they may have to be taken from the market on KBA’s request.

Instruction on right to appeal
This approval can be appealed within one month after notification. The appeal is to be filed in
writing or as a transcript at the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt, Fördestraße 16,
DE-24944 Flensburg.
